Members Under 18: What's Different
The app treats younger members slightly differently, mostly around body data and consent. If you are a parent, this explains what your child will and will not see.
What is hidden
Body and progress tracking — progress photos and body measurements — does not appear for members under 18, so the Body option is missing from their menu. This is deliberate and cannot be switched on.
What still works as normal
- Viewing the schedule and booking classes
- Workouts, logging results and personal records
- Development, assessments and achievements
- Badges, leaderboards and Member of the Month
- Messages, alerts and notifications
Parents and guardians
Where your gym has linked accounts, a parent can switch into their child's profile from their own to see bookings and progress and to book on their behalf. Waivers and health forms for a young member are normally signed by a parent or guardian.
If something goes wrong
- Body is missing for an adult — the date of birth your gym holds may be wrong. Ask them to correct it.
- A parent cannot see their child's account — the accounts need linking by the gym first.
Anything else about a young member's account is handled by your gym directly.
