How to Change Your Payment Date

How to Change Your Payment Date

If your gym allows it, you can change which day of the month your membership payments are collected. Here's how:

Before You Start

Step-by-Step

  1. Go to the Profile tab in the bottom menu.
  2. Find your Membership card — it shows your plan name, billing frequency, and fees.
  3. Tap "Change Payment Date" (below the "Update Payment Method" button). If you don't see this button, your gym may not have enabled this feature.
  4. A panel will slide up. Select your new payment day (1st–28th of the month) from the dropdown. Your current day will be greyed out.
  5. Tap "Preview Changes" to see exactly what will happen financially:

Understanding the Preview

Before you confirm, the app shows you a breakdown:

Example: you pay £125 on the 18th and have paid up to 18 Oct. You switch to the 7th. 7 Oct – 18 Oct (11 days) is already paid, so about £45.83 comes off: your 7 Oct payment is about £79.17, then £125 on the 7th of each month.

What you'll see: Stripe shows a £0.00 invoice on the day of the change. It marks the start of the adjusted period, and nothing is charged. The credit or extra charge appears as a line on the payment on your new date. Staff can see it under Credits & Adjustments ("Payment date credit" or "Payment date charge"), and the change is recorded in the member's activity log.

Confirming the Change

  1. Review the preview carefully.
  2. Tap "Confirm Change" to apply the new payment date.
  3. You'll see a confirmation screen with a green tick. Your payments will now be collected on your chosen day each month.
  4. Tap "Close" to return to your profile.
