How to Refer a Friend
Love your gym? Spread the word! If your gym has a referral program active, you'll have a unique referral code you can share with friends. When they sign up using your code, you both get rewarded.
Finding Your Referral Code
Your referral code is displayed on your Home Dashboard in a card labelled "Your Referral Code". This card only appears if your gym has an active referral program.
How to Share
- On your home dashboard, find the Your Referral Code card.
- Tap the Copy button to copy your unique code to your clipboard.
- Share the code with friends via text, email, social media, or word of mouth.
What Your Friend Does
When your friend signs up for a membership at your gym:
- They go through the normal sign-up process.
- At the payment step, they'll see an option to enter a referral code.
- They enter your code — the system validates it instantly and shows the discount.
- Once they complete sign-up, the reward is applied automatically.
What Rewards Do I Get?
The reward depends on how your gym has configured the program. Common setups include:
- A percentage discount off your next month's membership (e.g. 10% off)
- A fixed amount off (e.g. £5 off)
- The discount may apply for one billing cycle or multiple months
The discount is applied automatically to your Stripe subscription — no action needed on your part.
Tracking Your Referrals
Your referral code card shows how many successful referrals you've made. Some gyms set a maximum number of referrals per member, after which your code will no longer be accepted.
Why Can't I See a Referral Code?
If you don't see a referral code on your dashboard, it means your gym hasn't activated a referral program. Ask your gym to enable the Member Refer a Friend program in their settings.
