Checking In to Your Class

Checking In to Your Class

Checking in tells your gym you were there. A coach can check you in on the gym's kiosk or screen, and you can also check yourself in from the app.

How to check in

  1. Open Schedule, or find the class on your Home screen.
  2. Tap the class to open it.
  3. Tap Check In. The class immediately shows Checked In.

If your gym has already checked you in, the button is replaced by the Checked In badge — there is nothing else to do.

When you can check in

You cannot check in hours early. This is deliberate — your gym needs an accurate picture of who is actually in the building.

If you're marked as a no-show

If nobody checks you in before the window closes, the class is recorded as a No-show and you'll get a notification saying you weren't checked in. This is a record only — your class credit is not refunded, and it was already used when you booked.

If you did attend, you can fix it yourself while the window is still open: open the class and tap Check In (clears no-show). The no-show disappears straight away. A coach can also clear it from the kiosk or from your gym's class register.

No-shows and attendance feed the engagement picture your gym sees, so it's worth keeping them accurate.

Checking in a child or dependant

If you manage a family profile, switch to that person using the Viewing as selector, then check them in the same way. The same timing rules apply.

Troubleshooting

Still wrong? Message your gym from Messages with the class name and date.

Check-in needs a valid membership

Your membership is checked again when you check in. If it has ended, is on hold or a payment has failed since you booked, check-in is refused and you'll see why. Contact your gym to sort it out.
