Automation Email Templates
Each automation flow that sends an email is linked to a pre-built email template stored in your gym's local email template repository. These templates are fully customisable while maintaining a recovery path back to the platform default.
Pre-Built Email Templates
The following email templates are provisioned alongside the starter pack automations:

Customising Email Templates
- Go to Messages → Templates.
- Find the template you want to edit (automation templates are tagged with the automation category).
- Edit the content using the block-based email builder.
- Save your changes — all flows referencing this template will use your updated version immediately.
Reverting to Default
If you've customised a template and want to restore the original platform version:
- Open the template.
- Click Revert to Default.
- Type REVERT to confirm.
This restores the template to the platform-provided content stored in the platform snapshot.
Merge Fields
Automation email templates support the same merge fields as regular emails:
{{first_name}},{{full_name}}— Member details{{membership_name}}— Current membership plan{{gym_name}},{{gym_email}}— Gym details
Merge fields are resolved at send time with the member's current data.
