Creating Discount Codes

Offer promotional pricing with reusable or single-use discount codes that members apply during the join flow.

Creating a Code

  1. Navigate to Memberships → Discounts tab.
  2. Click + New Discount Code.
  3. Configure:
    • Code — The text members enter (e.g. SUMMER20). Automatically uppercased.
    • Discount Type:
      • Percentage — e.g. 20% off (max 100%)
      • Fixed Amount — e.g. £10 off per billing cycle
    • Discount Value — The amount or percentage to discount
    • Applies To — Where the discount applies:
      • Setup Fee — Discount on the joining fee only
      • Initial Period — Discount on the first billing cycle only
      • Recurring — Discount on every billing cycle
      • All — Discount on everything
    • Max Uses — Total number of times the code can be redeemed (leave blank for unlimited)
    • Expiry Date (optional) — Code stops working after this date
  4. Click Save.

How Members Use Codes

During the join flow on your sales page, members see a "Discount Code" field. They enter the code and the discount is applied immediately to the checkout summary. Invalid or expired codes show an error message.

Tracking Usage

View each code's usage statistics from the Discounts tab: total redemptions, remaining uses, and the list of members who used each code.
