Maintenance jobs are tasks attached to a piece of equipment. They use the same task system as the rest of Bliply, so assignment, due dates, recurrence and notifications all work the same way.
Creating a job
- Open the item in Maintenance.
- Select Schedule maintenance.
- Give the job a name (for example "Treadmill belt service"), set a due date, priority, and who it is assigned to — an individual or a staff role.
- Choose how often it repeats: one-off, daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or yearly.
Countdowns
Each item shows how long until its next service, turning amber when it is due soon and red once it is overdue. The Maintenance overview shows how many jobs are overdue across the gym.
Completing a job
Select Complete on the job, and add completion notes if useful — they are saved to the item's history. If the job repeats, the next one is scheduled automatically from the recurrence you set.
Reminders
Each morning Bliply checks for jobs due within the next day and notifies whoever the job is assigned to — or your managers if nobody is named.
History
Every item keeps a full history: status changes, faults reported and resolved, jobs completed, notes and warranty reminders. Nothing is overwritten, so you always have an audit trail per machine.
