Working with Nodes & Connections
Nodes are the building blocks of your planning boards. Each node is a card on the canvas that can contain rich-text content.
Creating Nodes
- Double-click the canvas — Creates a new node at your cursor position.
- Double-click a node's handle — Creates a new child node automatically connected to the parent.
Editing Node Content
- Click on a node to select it.
- The node opens a rich-text editor (TipTap) supporting:
- Bold, italic, underline formatting
- Bullet and numbered lists
- Headings
- Links
- Click outside the node or press Escape to finish editing.
Moving Nodes
Click and drag any node to reposition it on the canvas. Connected edges will follow automatically.
Creating Connections (Edges)
- Hover over a node to reveal its connection handles (small circles on the edges).
- Click and drag from a handle to another node to create a connection.
- Connections use smooth Bezier curves for visual clarity.
Deleting Nodes & Connections
- Select a node or connection and press Delete or Backspace.
- Deleting a node also removes all its connections.
