Legal Template Management
Navigate to Content → Gym → Legal Templates to manage the standard legal document templates available to gyms.
Template Types
| Type | Purpose | When It's Used |

| Membership Agreement | Terms and conditions for gym membership | Displayed during member signup / presented for signature |
| Liability Waiver | Assumption of risk / liability release | Required before first class attendance |
| Privacy Policy | GDPR / data protection compliance | Linked from gym website and member app |
| Parental Consent Form | Guardian consent for minors | Required for under-18 members |
Creating a Legal Template
- Click + Create Template
- Enter the template name and select the type
- Write or paste the legal content in the editor
- Use merge fields where gym-specific details should be inserted (e.g. {{gym_name}}, {{gym_address}})
- Save — the template becomes available for gyms to adopt
Template Versioning
Legal templates support versioning to maintain compliance audit trails:
- When you update a template, the previous version is archived automatically
- A new version number is assigned
- Gyms using the old version are not automatically updated — they must adopt the new version
- All historical versions are accessible for reference and dispute resolution
Distribution to Gyms
Legal templates are available in the gym's Legal & Compliance section. Gym admins can browse available templates and activate the ones they need. They can customise the content for their specific requirements while maintaining the core legal framework.
