Feature Gating & Plan Availability

Single gated feature key

Athlete Development is gated by a single feature key: athlete_development. This is the only key the codebase checks; the four display-only sub-rows (alt_scoring, ai_commentary, leaderboards, parent_pdfs) exist purely as marketing bullets on the public pricing page and are short-circuited to true by useGymHasFeature.

Plan inclusion

• Engage — Included by default (linked via plan_features).
• Lite / Core — Available as a paid bolt-on via gym_feature_overrides.

Enabling for a specific gym

From the gym's detail page, go to Feature Overrides and toggle athlete_development on. The Development sidebar item and route become available immediately.

Catalogue access

The Bliply Catalogue browser inside Development → Setup is visible to any gym with the feature enabled, regardless of plan. There is no separate gate for catalogue browsing or installing.
