Access Control & Edit Locking
Role-Based Access
Platform planning boards use the same access model as gym boards, adapted for platform roles:

| Owner Only | Board creator and platform admins |
| Admins | Platform admins only |
| Managers | Platform managers and admins |
| All Staff | All platform team members |
Read Only vs Editable
- Editable — Any team member meeting the minimum role can edit.
- Read Only — Only the creator, admins, or users with explicit edit permissions can modify the board.
Per-User Permissions
Use the Access dialog to grant specific team members View or Edit permissions, overriding the minimum role requirement.
Concurrent Edit Locking
When a team member opens a board for editing, other users see a lock banner with the editor's name. They can view the board in read-only mode. The lock releases when the editor closes the board or navigates away.
Light/Dark Toggle
The canvas includes a light/dark mode toggle. Your preference persists in local storage across sessions (device-specific).
