SEO & Sitemap
Optimise your gym's website for search engines to attract organic traffic and improve your online visibility.
Per-Page SEO Settings
Each page (homepage, subpages, and blog posts) supports:
- Meta Title — The title shown in search engine results and browser tabs. Keep under 60 characters for best display.
- Meta Description — A summary shown below the title in search results. Keep under 160 characters. Make it compelling to encourage clicks.
- Slug — The URL-friendly path for the page. Use hyphens between words and keep it descriptive (e.g.
personal-training-services).
Sitemap
A static sitemap is hosted at /sitemap.xml and submitted to search engines. It includes all published pages and blog posts. Platform admins can manually refresh the sitemap to pick up new content.
SEO Best Practices
- Unique Titles — Write a unique, descriptive meta title for every page and blog post.
- Compelling Descriptions — Each meta description should summarise the page content and include a call to action.
- Heading Hierarchy — Use H1 for the main page title, H2 for sections, H3 for sub-sections. Don't skip levels.
- Image Alt Text — Add descriptive alt text to all images for accessibility and image search ranking.
- Regular Blog Content — Publishing fresh content regularly signals to search engines that your site is active and relevant.
- Internal Links — Link between your pages (e.g. from a blog post to your pricing page) to help search engines understand your site structure.
- Google Analytics — Add your GA4 Measurement ID in Settings → General to track visitor behaviour on your website.
