Setting Your Nutrition Targets
Targets turn the nutrition screen from a food diary into something useful — every meal you log is measured against them.
Setting them up
- Open Nutrition from the menu.
- Open Nutrition Goals.
- Choose a Goal Type — for example losing fat, maintaining or building muscle.
- Choose a Diet Type. This sets how your calories are split between protein, carbohydrate and fat.
- Review the Daily Targets that are calculated for you, adjust any of them by hand if you want to, and save.
Your calorie target is estimated from your height, weight, age and activity, so keep Profile → Body Settings up to date or the numbers will drift.
Reviewing progress
The Today tab shows calories, protein, carbs, fat and water against target. Week and Month show the trend — far more useful than any single day. Energy compares what you have eaten with what you have burned, using your logged training.
If something goes wrong
- "Profile data needed" — your height, weight or date of birth is missing. Add it in Profile → Body Settings.
- Targets look wrong for you — override any figure by hand; your entry always wins.
- No weekly trend — you need a few days of logged food before trends appear.
If your coach has given you specific numbers, enter those by hand rather than relying on the estimate.
