Staff have a Maintenance section in the app so faults can be reported on the gym floor, in seconds.
Finding it
Open the menu and choose Maintenance. It appears for staff only, and only when your gym has the maintenance tracker enabled.
Scanning a QR code
Tap the Scan QR button at the top of the Maintenance section and point the camera at the QR sticker on the machine — the app opens that item directly, no searching. If camera access is not available, type the code shown under the sticker instead. You can also scan the sticker with your phone's own camera app, which opens the same item.
What you can do
- Report a fault — pick a severity, describe it, add photos, and flag the machine out of service if it is unsafe to use (always applied for urgent faults).
- See status — whether an item is operational, faulty, under maintenance or out of service.
- Complete jobs — mark maintenance assigned to you as done and add completion notes.
- Review open faults and history for any item.
Tab badges
Red count badges sit on the Faults and Jobs tabs. Faults counts every open fault. Jobs counts only the jobs that are due today or overdue in the gym's own timezone — future jobs stay visible in the list with their countdowns, but they don't add to the badge. The Maintenance badge in the menu uses the same faults plus due-jobs counting.
Notifications
You will be notified when a job is assigned to you, when maintenance is due, and when a fault you reported is resolved. Urgent faults notify managers immediately. Manage these under Profile → Notifications → Equipment & maintenance.
