Class Waitlists
When a class is full, members can join a waitlist. If a place frees up — someone cancels, or you increase the class size — the waitlist is notified automatically by push and email, and the member can take the spot with one tap.
Choosing how a spot is offered
Go to Schedule → Settings → Waitlist:
- Offer it in order (recommended) — the spot is held for the next person on the list for a set number of minutes (15 by default). If they don't take it, it passes to the next person automatically.
- Tell everyone at once — the whole waitlist is notified and the first to book gets the place.
With "offer it in order" you also set Open to everyone this many minutes before the class starts (60 by default). Inside that window the spot goes straight to everyone, so a last-minute cancellation doesn't sit unused while one person is holding it.
Seeing and managing the queue
Open a class and go to the Bookings tab. Below the booked members you'll see the Waitlist in queue order, with a "Spot offered" tag on anyone currently holding an offer. Hover a row to:
- Book in — move that member straight into the class (class-pack credits are deducted as normal).
- X — remove them from the waitlist.
Good to know
- Waitlists can be switched on or off per class; Schedule → Settings sets the default for new classes.
- The class never overfills — if two members claim at once, only one booking succeeds and the other keeps their place.
- Members can turn off the "waitlist spot available" notification, so a member who opted out won't be alerted.
Membership checks on the waitlist
Joining the waitlist needs a valid membership for the programme. When a spot is claimed or you move someone up, their membership is checked again at that moment. If it has lapsed, is suspended or has no credits left, they won't be moved into the class and you'll see the reason. Class-pack credits are used when someone moves from the waitlist into the class.
